Sue opened Cock Pit Farm Tea Rooms at Weston, near Otley, in September 2009.

Over the years we developed a great following of regular customers and a good level of passing trade, particularly during the summer.

​

We were dog friendly and welcomed cyclists and walkers. We became part of the family and customers became valuable friends.

​

We’ve always sold home-made cakes and scones, and our dishes are always freshly made to order every time.

​

Sue made all the cakes and scones, cooked all the meals, cleaned, shopped and employed the staff. She also ran out of hours activities and held many charity events, raising over £36,000 in our first 10 years.

​

In September 2019 whilst we celebrated 10 years in business, we were informed that our lease was to be terminated.

 

So, with a heavy heart and after a well-supported but fruitless fight, we left Cock Pit Farm and found Burley Grange.

 

We have not, and will not look back.

​

We look forward to a happy and successful future at Burley Grange. We will maintain the high standards and warm welcome that we have become known for. In conclusion, we are thrilled to be here, to welcome our regulars and many new customers. We can’t wait to meet you all.
